After 16 years of service to patients, schools, and our community, we regret to advise that Simply Dental New Zealand Ltd no longer provides publicly funded dental services under the Combined Dental Agreement (CDA).
It has been a privilege to care for young people across Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti, and we sincerely thank patients, families, schools, and communities for the trust and support shown to our team over many years.
Throughout this time, our focus has been on prevention, education, and supporting patients to take an active role in their oral health. We have aimed to provide care that supports long-term oral health outcomes while minimising future treatment needs wherever clinically appropriate.
We understand this change may create uncertainty for some families, and we want to ensure patients are fully informed of their options so that care can continue without unnecessary interruption.
Your Care Options
Your options for dental care are to either (Option details are outlined below)
- Transfer your enrollment to a CDA contracted provider, or
- Remain with Simply Dental as Private Patient

Option 1. Transfer to Another CDA Provider (Publicly Funded Care)
If you wish to continue receiving publicly funded dental care, you may transfer your enrollment to another provider offering these services.

Option 2. Continue Care with Simply Dental (Private Care)
Patients are welcome to continue their care with Simply Dental on a private basis.
We currently offer:
✔️Under 18 yrs dental check-up (including x-rays and oral health education): $85
✔️ACC-related dental injury treatment (no surcharge for patients under 18 years)
✔️General dental care including surgical procedures
All treatment options and costs will be discussed with you in advance so that you can make informed decisions about your care.
Orthodontic Care Options
We continue to provide:
✔️Free orthodontic consultations
✔️Invisalign clear aligner treatment
✔️Conventional braces
For patients currently under orthodontic care with Simply Dental, or considering orthodontic treatment:
✔️A dental consultation, including any clinically required x-rays, can be provided as part of orthodontic treatment at no additional consultation cost
✔️Treatment options and associated costs will be discussed clearly before any treatment proceeds
Records and Continuity of Care
If you choose to transfer to another provider, we will assist by providing copies of your clinical records upon request to support continuity of care.
